Shandong Postal Launches Linyi-Tashkent China-Europe Freight Service
On December 21st, Shandong Postal launched its first Linyi-Tashkent China-Europe freight train, with support from China Railway Express Logistics (Shandong) Co., Ltd. This marks an important step in expanding international logistics, creating a key “Silk Road” for trade between China and Uzbekistan, as well as Central Asia. The service aims to help local businesses in Shandong reach overseas markets, cut logistics costs, and improve product competitiveness, boosting the region’s export-driven economy. The train, carrying mostly photovoltaic equipment and industrial components, left Linyi Logistics Park for Tashkent, traveling across Eurasia to deliver “Made in China” products to Central Asia, supporting local industry and renewable energy growth. This initiative is a major part of Shandong Postal’s response to China’s Belt and Road Initiative, using its resources to enhance the China-Europe Railway Express network and offer comprehensive logistics solutions to clients.

The China-Europe Railway Express is one of the world’s longest rail corridors, stretching from cities like Chengdu, Xi’an, Shanghai, and Linyi in China to key destinations across Europe, including Madrid, Hamburg, Warsaw, and London.
